A Precut Shim is made of SS 304 to prevent any corrosion in the long duration of its usage the material is also hardened and tempered to maintain the shape the thickeness is measured using high precision industrial micrometers. Burrs and corners are buffed for your safety to remove any raser sharp edges common with roll shims after its cut to shim shape, ease of usage and to fit to the correct bolt size.

A Shim is a thin and often tapered or wedged piece of material used to fill small gaps or spaces between objects.

Shims are typically used in order to support, adjust for a better fit, or provide a level surface.

Shims may also be used as spacers to fill gaps between parts subject to wear.

  • Shims are used in the shaft alignment process to correct the vertical position of a movable machine so it will be in alignment with the stationary or reference machine.
